I was born in Weber County where my family has a long and proud history. My ancestors settled in South Ogden after emigrating from Italy in 1882, and lived in a make-shift chicken coop while they saved enough money to send for the rest of the family. The Combe’s eventually homesteaded a piece of land in the Uintah Highlands and it is on that same land that I was born and raised. I attended Weber County Schools and graduated from Bonneville High School.
I’ve attended Snow College and Weber State University for an Integrated Studies degree. From 2001 to 2003 I served as a missionary for the LDS Church in Argentina where I learned Spanish and a love for Latin America’s culture and her people. It was during this time in South America that I learned the importance of a stable and responsible government and why we need a political class the understands the need to invest in the future of our community.
In 2007, I founded Zenyo LLC, the parent company of Spoon Me and Spoon Me Franchising. While I served as CEO and helped Spoon Me grew from a single store to over 70 units sold or operating in both the U.S. and Internationally. I sold my stake in the company in December of 2009. Upon leaving Zenyo, I have served as a consultant to many companies and currently own Counter Culture Consulting. In late 2011 I was fortunate to go to work for Weber State University where I am the current Director of Marketing and Member Relations for the Weber State Alumni Association.
I live in South Ogden my best friend, Alicia and our two children, Zachary (6) and Andrew (2).
